1. Secure servers
The Smarter Drafter document creation engine is hosted with Microsoft’s highly secure Azure hosting platform. The Microsoft Azure servers are physically located in Australia.
2. Regular backups
The Smarter Drafter servers have multiple levels of backups. Our hosting includes a comprehensive managed backup service pursuant to which backups are taken automatically on a daily basis. We also run regular manual backups. This ensures the continuity of the Smarter Drafter service. All backups are stored securely.
3.Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption
Web browser encryption
The Smarter Drafter Smart Q&A forms are secured by 4096-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. This creates an encrypted link between your web browser and our servers. That link ensures that all data passed between your web browser and our servers remains private.
Email encryption
All of our emails are delivered through channels that are similarly secured with SSL encryption. This means that all information sent by email is encrypted and transmitted securely. Our email hosting is provided through Google’s business-grade G-Suite email hosting service, which employs the highest levels of security and SPAM protection.
4. Access to documents
System administrators are the only staff members with access to documents generated by the firm. As Smarter Drafter is GDPR compliant, any and all documents can and will be deleted upon request of either the law firms or client.
